Erika is our lead technician and in charge of making sure your pets get the very best in nursing care.  Erika joined our Flowertown family in December 2016 but she started her career in veterinary medicine over 8 years ago.   Erika is passionate about caring for animals in need and when she’s not working as one of our amazing technicians, she spends her free time volunteering her time fostering animals for overpopulated shelters.

Erika and her husband, James moved their family to the Lowcountry in 2011 and can’t ever imagine leaving!  They live right here in Summerville with their three boys (Cody, Tanner & Kolton).  When she is not chasing after her boys, Erika loves spending time with her many fur babies;  4 dogs, 3 cats, a bearded dragon and a cockatiel.  Erika also loves crafting and spending time with family and friends in her pool.

Erika’s goal is to make sure both animals and humans always feel welcome and comfortable at FAH and to treat every patient like she would her own furbabies!

Tarayn was born in Paris, TX, but raised in Summerville SC and has since loved living here in the Lowcountry. Tarayn has wanted to work with animals since she was a little girl and she would often be found outside bringing home neighborhood strays.
Tarayn joined FAH in 2017 but she has worked as a veterinary technician since 2012, starting in the shelter veterinary field at a no kill animal shelter where her passion for helping homeless animals in need grew even stronger. Private practice is a new experience for Tarayn but she is very excited to dive right on in and learn and grow at FAH.
When Tarayn isn't working she's spending time with her family and friends. Tarayn and her fiancé Patrick met a little over two years ago and are currently planning their wedding for April 2018. Tarayn has two husky rescues (Sophie and Thor) that came all the way from El Paso TX when her fiancé was stationed there in the army.  She also has a one eyed cat named Hootie who is the love of her life!
Tarayn is very excited about developing relationships with both patients and clients. Her main goal is to make sure every animal and human she meets feels comfortable and at home at FAH.

She is currently enrolled at Penn Foster College to get her Associates Degree in Veterinary Medicine for her certified technician license.

Michelle has always known that she would be a part of this field, even as a young child. She has 2 dogs (Bella and Star) and 2 cats (Coco and Skittles) that share their home with her and her fiance.  She loves all animals but has a big interest in exotic medicine.

She is a South Carolina native, born and raised here in the lowcountry. She mostly enjoys hanging out at home with her family and fur babies or going out with friends.

Sabrina is a Charleston native, born and raised! She started her career in the veterinary field over 20 years ago. She has a love for all species of animals and knew from a young age that she always wanted to work with them in some capacity. She loves to help out local shelters by fostering, and every once in a while one of those fosters becomes a permanent addition to her ever growing family of fur babies.

Sabrina and her husband Patrick have 3 dogs (Boston, Walter, and Carl) along with 4 cats (Lefty, Negra, Bruin, and Mikey). She loves to spend her spare time outdoors on the water fishing, going camping with family and friends, or just relaxing and gardening at home.

Jarrett, a native of South Carolina, has been working in the Veterinary field for over 7 years. He has worked mainly in specialty/emergency medicine and also shelter medicine.  From a young age, he’s had a love for all species of animals, and dreamed of becoming a Veterinarian. Jarrett is currently pursuing his degree in Veterinary Technology and he plans to eventually become a marine animal trainer, as feels it is his true calling.

When Jarrett isn’t busy with studies or work, he enjoys soaking up some sun at the beach, spending time with family and friends, traveling/site seeing, volunteering, and spending time with his 2 dogs (Tommy and Ava), and his cat Mysteri.

Sarah was born in the lowcountry but is a true military brat being raised in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba but made her rounds all over the globe eventually settling back home in Charleston.

Sarah joins us with over 15 years of veterinary experience. She started volunteering at 14 years of age at the local animal shelter and fell in love from there. Her daughter Madison is the love of her life along with her two fur-babies Lucy and Poppy. She enjoys pretty much anything outdoors including paddle boarding, camping and hiking.  In the last year, she has even added musical talent to her repertoire and has taken up the guitar and ukulele.

Cindy is a true yankee who married into a military family and has been state-hopping ever since. She much enjoys exploring the country with her husband, son and chihuahua, but hopes to eventually call South Carolina home, permanently.  She's been in the veterinary field since she was 15 starting as an assistant in an emergency clinic back home and quickly moved up to a veterinary technician. When Cindy is not working she enjoys spending time with family and friends, crafting, and wine.

Sarah joined the FAH family in the fall of 2019.  She is originally from Summerville but moved to Virginia Beach in 2015 where she started her veterinary career.  She loves any and all animals and from a very young age was constantly bringing home injured birds, squirrels, and bunnies to nurse them back to health.  In her free time, Sarah loves to ride her horse or take her adorable dog Titan for a walk or to the beach.

Tiffany was born in Michigan but has lived here in South Carolina for the past 15 years with the majority of her family and her boyfriend. Always having a love of animals, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in the veterinary field. She immediately started the technician program after high school and recently earned her degree in Veterinary Technology. In her free time she loves cuddling with her lab/greyhound mix Scarlett, swimming, and doing anything outdoors. Her ultimate dream is to work in Zoo Veterinary Medicine working with large exotic felines.

Sam was born in New Hampshire but spent most of her childhood moving around as a military brat.  She comes from an animal loving family and was introduced at a young age.  She has had hamsters to horses and everything in-between.  She moved to South Carolina from Nebraska in 2012 with her 2 daughters. She made the move to a Veterinary Technician in 2016 and has never looked back.  She loves spending time with her girls and her fur babies, Zelda and Bubbles.

Kim, LVT

Born and raised in Charleston, SC, Angel started working in the vet field in 2017 as an assistant and worked to become a technician. She worked at a large and small animal clinic for a period of time where her favorite animals to work on were the cows. She has always loved being around animals and started working with them at a young age. She helped with a petting zoo (they had goats, sheep, peacocks, etc) starting at the age of 10 and knew from then on that was what she wanted to make her career. In her free time, Angel loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Kim is a South Carolina native who just happens to be a die hard Georgia Bulldogs fan (we don't judge her much). She has been working in the veterinary field since 2006, starting out as an assistant and working her way up to technician. Kim completed her formal training in 2020 to become a licensed veterinary technician. Kim's favorite place to be outside of work is home snuggling with her dog Roxie watching thriller movies or propped up at the beach with a good book.
