Get to know your veterinarians, part II: Dr. P!
Welcome back for our second installment of "9 questions with your vet." This week we are interviewing Dr. P:
What's your favorite part of being a veterinarian?
I love walking into the office every morning knowing that no two days are ever the same. Veterinary medicine is constantly evolving and everyday is an opportunity to learn something new.
What's your least favorite?
While euthanasia is one of the kindest things we can do to alleviate our pet’s suffering, it never gets easier watching a family say goodbye to their beloved family member.
What's your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
I love spending time with four legged friends of the larger variety. Horse-back riding has always been my favorite thing to do in my spare time.
What's your favorite sports team?
O-H….I-O! Goooo Bucks!
What's your favorite snack?
This one is easy. Cheez - Its are my kryptonite.
You are banished to a deserted island and can only take three things with you, what would they be? (and by the way, there is no phone service on the island)
A box of books
Coffee….lots of coffee
My dogs :-) *** They love to swim and would probably be happy to be deserted on an island (see below: my dog Ziggy Marley enjoying island life:)
What is the coolest thing you've ever done?
Became scuba certified in the Caribbean
What's the next thing on your bucket list?
To go on a World Vets trip to a developing country
If you could be any animal, which would it be?
A dolphin. That way I could spend all day at the beach :-)
